Description
WarmMark® Mini Ascending Short-Run Temperature Indicators (2 Hour)
WarmMark® Mini indicators provide clear, irreversible visual evidence that a package has been exposed to temperatures above a defined threshold for a short period. The Mini format is ideal for small parcels, sample packs, vials, cartons, or individual units where space is limited but temperature compliance still matters.
WarmMark® Mini indicators are supplied in minimum order quantities and are intended for professional validation, qualification, and controlled temperature monitoring applications.
How It Works
WarmMark® Mini indicators use a calibrated chemical reaction to detect cumulative temperature exposure above the rated threshold. When exposure above that threshold occurs for long enough to represent a meaningful excursion, the indicator changes permanently, providing a simple visual record that an out-of-spec temperature event has occurred.
These Mini variants are designed for a short monitoring window (2 hour format), making them suitable for time-critical shipments, last-mile delivery, or short-duration handling risk.
Available Thresholds (2 Hour Format)
- 8 °C / 46 °F
- 25 °C / 77 °F
Typical Applications

Use & Handling Clauses
- Placement: Apply to a clean, dry surface where the indicator can be inspected on receipt. Avoid placement where it may be rubbed, crushed, or obscured.
- Activation & Interpretation: The indicator provides a visual indication that the rated threshold has been exceeded. It does not record the exact time, duration, or maximum temperature reached.
- One-Time / Irreversible: Activation is permanent and intended for one-time monitoring. Indicators cannot be reset or reused.
- Environment: Avoid conditions outside intended use (e.g., direct sunlight, heaters, chemical vapours, or persistent condensation) that could affect readability.
- Inspection & Records: Inspect and record status at dispatch and on receipt. Photographing the indicator in situ is recommended for quality records.
- Suitability & Liability: Indicators do not prevent excursions or guarantee product condition. Users must validate suitability for their application, packaging design, and SOPs.
